Just in case any of you are interested. I do not know what this is going to be like, I have read all the comments on the page I am linking to and am going to take the risk.

Apparently SAGA is an online RTS game which you can play alone or in groups. This link is to a site which offers free full versions of software. The game is free membership (with a fee if you wish to register - you do not have to), but this link also gives you some free stuff for the game that is worth $29.95.
